Inspired by and abstracted from African masks, the Kuyu introduces precision-cut table legs, which have been created specifically to carry the innovative table top. The cut diamonds of solid wood appear sculpturally powerful and at the same time seem to float, while the four archetypal shapes of the table top invite a geometric interplay: Triangle, circle, rectangle and free form, taking over the design of whatever room they're placed in. Due to the two heights, different shapes can be combined and overlapped, creating exciting formations. Kuyu stands as a large lounge table in the living room in combination with sofa or armchairs, or in the foyer of a hotel and in the lounge area of a restaurant, where it becomes a strong and simple statement piece.
