Floating Platform Bed
The Smilow Floating Platform Bed is a sleeping design-lovers’ dream come true. This mid-century masterpiece adds a striking sense of style to the modern bedrooms, pairing beautifully with rooms of all different sizes, shapes, and colors. When Mel envisioned building this bed, he focused on the Japanese word Shibui, he understood it to mean magnificent simplicity, elegance with good taste. It was a hit when first released, and family lore has it that John Lennon & Yoko Ono had one in their apartment.
