The intention behind Violon was to create an armchair with a flexible shell that adapts to the body while providing great comfort—and by all measures, the design successfully met these goals. Designer Paolo Rizzatto has been inspired by Man Ray's work "Le violon d'Ingres" (1924), one of the most iconic images in the history of art. The design is meant to feel artistic, animated, and inspiring, representative of the curves and delicate nature of the human body.
