Verner Panton designed the Series 430 Chair as a study in simplicity, while providing the same comfort as an armchair, creating an exceptional luxurious dining experience. Panton accomplished this by applying traditional webbing to the fully upholstered seat to adjust for body weight, and creating a wide nestling backrest and placing it on a slender elegant frame that mounts on the outside of the seat and back. The result is a supremely elegant dining chair, perfect for both residential spaces and contract settings such as restaurants, lounges, cafés, and even modern workplaces.
