Rituals XL, designed by Ludovica & Roberto Palomba for Foscarini, is a hand-blown glass table lamp with diffused light. The Rituals collection is a combination of east and west, memory and modernity, poetic inspiration and technological research. It is a family of distinct complementary shapes that translate the luminous magic of oriental rice paper lanterns into the precious physical form of blown glass. The special glass working method, with irregular lines that mark the surface, was created by the industrialization of the artisan process of grinding. The result is a delicate motif that produces a unique look of chiaroscuro and a soft and gentle light.

In the Rituals XL Table version, thanks to its dimensions and its innately striking effect, has been designed to discretely support a large diffuser so that it may also be used as a floor lamp. Rituals Tavolo XL is the largest in the Rituals collection by Ludovica & Roberto Palomba.
