Peggy
The Peggy collection was designed for the Guggenheim Museum in Venice. The collection was created to pay tribute to the great art collector Peggy Guggenheim, who chose Venice as her residence and whom the city owes the vibrant cultural scene that surrounds her house, Palazzo Venier dei Leoni. The chandelier was hung in the museum cafe, which was designed entirely by Hangar Design Group. Due to the light’s popularity, manufacturer Vistosi decided to release a limited edition of less than 30 of each of its three versions. Peggy Futura mounts from the ceiling, holding three, five, or nine handblown glass orbs. Black metal bands wrap around each of the white globes, contrasting light with dark and matte with shine.
