The Nacre coffee table is an artistic and innovative statement piece designed for Glas Italia. Inspired by the organic form of an oyster shell. The collection is constructed from two delicate sheets of heated glass, intricately bonded together by hand for precision. Through experimenting with the limits of heat tension and gravity, a new halfway point was discovered to mold the asymmetrical form and fluid shape of the glass cavity, which can be left empty or filled and used as a terrarium, flower box, or display unit. With its light and elegant quality, Nacre heightens the overall experience in any setting.
