Laleggera is the expression of research and technology at its maximum. The design is the result of combining a traditional material—solid wood—with light, expanded polyurethane, injected in the structure, a testament to Alias' dedication to innovative practices. The chair is simple, clean, and versatile, offering an undeniable sense of beauty and modernity, with an uncanny ability to blend seamlessly into almost any space. While the chair's footprint is slim and light, the seat and back are spacious, providing ample comfort. In 2009, Laleggera was inducted into the permanent collection at the Museum of Modern Art.
