The Caboche collection consists of a group of transparent spheres arranged uniformly in a spherical pattern, all surrounding a light source. Each transparent sphere adds to the lighting effect, producing a brightness and sparkle unique to the Caboche family. Caboche is illuminated by a halogen bulb and consists of a matte white upper glass screen and a lower concave screen to shield the light source. This unique combination of materials, clear and opaque, allows for a beautiful display of diffused light from every angle you view the lamp.

Born in Oviedo, Patricia Urquiola attended the Madrid Polytechnic and the Milan Polytechnic Universities. She graduated in 1989 with Achille Castiglioni as her supervisor at the Milan Polytechnic from 1990 to 1992. She has worked with many great talents and companies worldwide.
