At first look, Big Bang looks like chaos but upon closer inspection you will find a precise design. Explosive and sculptural, yet rational and scientific, Big Bang is made up of intersections that have been carefully studied to create a dynamic range of light and shade. The illumination cast by Big Bang is diffused, direct, and reflective all at once. Big Bang works in varied public and private environments, creating strong visual presence that attracts attention, defines an area, and decorates a ceiling.

Enrico Franzolini was born in Udine, Italy where he studied architecture at the University of Venice. In 1972, he was invited to the 36th Biennale exhibition of Decorative Arts in Venice, exhibiting two objects produced by the Livio Seguso glass factory in Murano. In 1978, his first personal exhibition at Plurima gallery in Udine marked the beginning of his interest in minimal architecture.

Vicente Garcia Jimenez was born in Valencia, Spain. He graduated in Industrial design at the faculty of Castellon De La Plana. In 2000, he started collaborating with Santa & Cole in Barcelona, developing new lighting and furniture projects. In 2003, he moved to Italy where he met and started collaborating with Enrico Franzolini.
