A lamp, a musical instrument, a sculptural installation; Allegretto is the result of a partnership between Atelier Oi and Foscarini. Atelier Oi is a trio of designers, architects, and set designers who work to create works of art on an industrial scale. Based on Foscarini’s original voluminous Allegro design, Allegretto’s dimensions have been reduced by reinterpreting the form (without losing its original refinement) and retaining the special essence of the lamp that emits a gentle chiming sound when lightly touched.
