The E8 Bank was designed to compliment the E8 Table. The look of the collection was inspired from wartime furniture that ended up as a dining table. In oak, all surfaces except the tops are coloured, using a staining technique that offers saturated and bright colors, while ensuring that the natural texture of the wood remains visible. Unlike lacquer, which scratches off easily, this stain allows the table to wear gracefully over time while maintaining the character of the material. In walnut, it is finished with natural vanish to let the woods' beauty shine through. If desired, the top can be upholstered in an extensive range of fabrics and leathers, for added comfort and customization.
