Wire Floor Lamp
Designed by Verner Panton in 1972, the Wire Floor Lamp is defined by a chrome-plated steel wire framework that widens at the top to support the hemispherical acrylic shade, which is available in a two colors. The bulb is contained in a small, metal reflector, which guides the light to the inside of the shade. The wire frame gives the design a distinctive visual lightness, while the shade offers a warm ambient light, that can also add a pop of color. Industrial, inventive, and timelessly modern, the Wire Floor Lamp feels like both an homage to the past and a vision for the future.
