pp201/203
Minimalist and geometric, the pp201/203 is a chair that is characteristically Wegner. It's elegance can be found in its simplicity, and like all of his designs, the attention to detail in the construction of the chair, considerations made to ergonomics, and the quality of materials used are of the utmost importance. The combined arm-and backrest is made of one piece of solid, steam-bended wood and one piece of carved, solid wood with joint details of wenge. Designed in 1969, this chair marked a new chapter in Wegner's relationship with PP Mobler. In addition to designing furniture, Wegner took a leading role in influencing how the company function, and began placing his best and most cherished designs as part of PP Mobler's collection.
